HEY THERE,

I'm Brent

An accredited practising dietitian and credentialled eating disorder clinician with a special interest in gut health, women’s health and complex, invisible illnesses like POTS, MCAS and hEDS. I’m also a self-proclaimed ocean enthusiast, yogi and coffee connoisseur.

I founded Maitri Health, a Gold Coast-based nutrition clinic that guides and empowers people to confidently manage their health and heal their relationship with food and body.

Here at Maitri Health we practice from a non-harming and non-judgemental approach, allowing our clients to feel truly heard and understood. We believe in delivering evidence-based nutrition services that are innovative and flexible to the individual. We turn complex nutrition science into simple, clear, personalised strategies that you can integrate into your busy life.

If you are ready to free yourself of the mental toll of your symptoms and discover your new normal where you aren’t preoccupied with every food choice or the number on the scales, then we’re ready to help you.

HEY THERE,

I'm Aleya

An Accredited Practising Dietitian passionate about women's health, hormonal health, fertility and menstrual cycle literacy - with a particular focus on supporting clients with PMOS/PCOS, endometriosis and other women's health concerns.

My professional interests are guided by a curious pursuit of understanding the dynamic and cyclical ways our bodies are influenced by nature. I believe hormones shape not just our bodies, but how we see ourselves and move through the world. That's why I take a heartfelt, person-centred approach - recognising that every woman's physiology, experience and needs are unique.

Rather than generic advice, I create personalised nutrition plans that consider your whole life: eating habits, sleep, movement, and the day-to-day shifts in energy and mood. My recommendations are always evidence-based, but practical enough to fit into your real life.

Ready to feel like yourself again? Book a consultation and let's build a plan that actually fits your life.

HEY THERE,

I'm Bianca

The friendly voice behind Maitri Health’s front desk. I look after bookings, enquiries and all the behind-the-scenes admin, so your experience with us is smooth and stress-free from your very first call.

If you have a question about appointments, telehealth, rebates or what to expect, I’m here to help. Outside the clinic you’ll find me being a busy mum, pilates or down at the beach.

It's so great to have you here.

I decided to pursue a career in functional nutrition as a dietitian after I struggled with my own gut health challenges that conventional medicine couldn’t seem to fix. I tried multiple diets and different medications with no real success (sound familiar?).

It wasn’t until I worked with a functional naturopath that I was able to heal my gut issues and regain my quality of life. This was my ‘catalyst’ life-changing event that set me on a new trajectory, showing me how healing real food, lifestyle change, managing stress and well-used supplements can be.

Nutrition can be confusing.

Nutrition is confusing, your gut symptoms may be even more confusing, and if you're also navigating hormonal symptoms, period pain and an invisible illness, it can feel like piecing together a puzzle with half the pieces missing. Too many people with poor gut health and women's health concerns are left in the dark without a clear diagnosis or plan moving forward.

But it doesn’t have to be this way.

With the right nutrition approach, some testing and a little strategy, it is possible to reduce and resolve your symptoms so that you can get back to doing the things you love.

TO US,

It's simple.

Our mission

To look beyond symptoms and uncover the root cause of gut issues, women's health concerns and invisible illnesses, empowering people to heal their relationship with food and reclaim their quality of life through evidence-based, holistic care.

Our vision

To be the leader of nutritional management in gut health, women's health and invisible illnesses pioneering innovative approaches and offering expert advice in a clear easy-to-digest format.
